Fiji restaurants usually serve continental cuisine as many chefs that work in these places come from Australia and New Zealand. Resorts and hotels generally have themed menu focusing on certain cuisine on a certain night.

There are a number of restaurants in island resorts, hotels, and coffee shops that serve Japanese, Chinese, and Indian cuisines. Most restaurants offer steaks and seafood while there are also those that serve a wide array of Fijian food.

Chefs The Restaurant

The specialty of the house admit the pakapaka, charcoal-grilled king prawns, rack of lamb, and broiled beef tenderloin. Established by chef Eugene Gomes, the place is considered as one of Fiji’s leading restaurants because of its attentive service and well presented-cuisine. The food may vary each season except for the rack of lamb and grilled beef tenderloin, which are a hit to Australian and New Zealand customers. It also serves breakfast while lunch offers fish and chips, burgers, and salads.
